1881 only shows 226 people in 46 properties, a few others are marked as vacant on the day of the census. Prospect Hill is not included, we need to check which township it was tagged to in 1881, they moved around at times and we need to look a bit deeper. The overall population for the Allotment looks right. All depends on the census enumerator, in this case a Mr Joseph Lowes, he revisited the census and made a few amendments, thus the schedule number for each property has a few gaps in the sequence.
